Japan is one of the fastest growing countries in the world. It is said to be economically the third largest country in the world. Its technology zaniness, heavy industry, revolutionary technological innovations and unique process management makes it one of the most distinctive countries in the globe. It is like a phoenix that is reborn from its ashes; since World War II Japan has consistently grown and developed to stand as one the strongest economies. Japan also enjoys its leadership in the international trade market. From used vehicles to new ones, heavy machinery, to consumer electronic equipments, nuclear technology to geothermal power plants; Japan has an extensive and immense exports made around the globe. Geographically, Japan is situated in the Northeastern Asia between the Sea of Japan and North Pacific. Japan has four major islands surrounded by 4,000 smaller ones. Japan has towering mountains, volcanic twisted valleys, and coastlines. Major cities of Japan that a tourist might have interest in are Tokyo the capital city, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, Kobe, Fukuoka and Sedai. Population of Japan is over 126 million and most of its population resides in urban areas. Tourists often find a communication barrier while choosing to go to Japan, mainly because the only language spoken there is Japanese. Knowing a few common everyday use Japanese can make the trip more memorable and easy. It is always advised to people to learn a few for better communication and understanding. It is also important to mention that before planning a trip to Japan, tourists must learn the basic customs and etiquettes of everyday life out there. Japanese have a rich culture; they celebrate different festivals throughout the year. There are festivals every month, a tourist visiting Japan can get a taste of Japanese festivals regardless of what month he is travelling in.Japan
